Castle Ashby, Northampton, NN7 1LJ

 

Castle Ashby is situated off the A428 between Northampton and Bedford and is also accessible from the A45.

 

M1 from the South

 

• Exit Junction 14

• Take the A509 towards Wellingborough

• Turn left at the first roundabout after the end of Olney High Street

• Turn right at the mini-roundabout into the countryside on the B5338 to Yardley Hastings

• Turn left onto the A428

• Travel through the village of Yardley Hastings

• Continue for approximately 1/2 mile before turning right at the brown Castle Ashby Gardens sign post

• Follow the road through Chadstone after which you can then turn right, following the brown signs to the Gardens, or continue straight ahead to Castle Ashby Village and the Rural Shopping Yard

 

 

M1 from the North 

 

• Exit Junction 15

• Pick up A45 (Ring Road)

• Exit off Dual Carriageway on to the A428 Bedford Road

• Go through Brafield and past Denton

• Turn left at the brown Castle Ashby Gardens brown tourist sign

• Follow the road past Chadstone after which you can then turn right, following the brown signs to the Gardens, or continue straight ahead to Castle Ashby Village and the Rural Shopping Yard
